Lovely rooms to rent in a spacious 4-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and balconies in the busy El Poble-Sec district. Each of the rooms has a balcony for enjoying lots of light and the great atmosphere of Barcelona. There's a spacious shared kitchen with electric oven, hob and microwave to cook meals plus a TV and dining table where you can socialise with your new flat-mates. The apartment has two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers.

The apartment is just a 4-minute stroll from the vast Avinguda del Paral-lel full of shops, banks, restaurants and metro stops. Even closer are a wide variety of tapas bars and supermarkets plus a gorgeous bakery 2 minutes from home for a selection of sweet and savoury pastries or cakes. In 8 minutes you can walk to the Mirador del Poble Sec for gorgeous city views or it takes 10 minutes to walk to the funicular station to head up to the majestic Montjuic for views, the castle and the Olympic swimming pool.

What we liked the most

  • Each room has its own balcony which lets in plenty of light.
  • The kitchen is large enough for socialising and watching TV.

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator.
  • Bedroom 2 is the only room that accommodates couples.
