This chic 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Place Princesse Elisabeth is located on the 3rd floor. The entryway widens into the open plan space of the L-shaped common areas. The fully equipped kitchen is set back from the living and dining area, but overlooks them. It’s modern, sleek, and has tons of space to move around in. The living and dining area have a parquet floor and lots of light filters in from the windows. It’s furnished with a lovely 4-seat dining table, sofa, 2 armchairs, TV, and fireplace. There are also doors to a small balcony with a table and chairs. The bedroom, which has a double bed, is upstairs. It’s huge, with wood floors and lots of light. The bathroom with a shower, tub, and balcony are also located on this level.
Your new apartment is located in Schaerbeek, which is east of the city centre. You are so close to the bus and tram that you can easily make your way to anywhere in Brussels. You can even take a day trip to the countryside by train from here. The Rail Museum, along with two other museums, are just down the street. The neighborhood does have a lot of parks and green spaces. The quaint park with children's games, named Park and plain games of Hamoir, is just 5 minutes away. If a stroll through the park isn’t enough exercise, don’t worry — Le Judo Gym is a block away! There are even a couple of cafés around the corner. And when you’re looking for restaurants or bakeries, just head to Avenue Princesse Elisabeth. It’s only a few minutes' walk.
What we liked the most
- The living space is stylish and the kitchen is a dream for those who enjoy cooking.
- The 2nd floor bedroom is cool, but the bathroom, with a tub, shower, and balcony is ultra chic!
- You can catch a film at White Cinema Docks, which is a 15-minute walk away.
- You can learn to sail at the Brussels Royal Yacht Club, which is just across the canal.
Things to keep in mind
- This apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building without an elevator. At least you'll get lots of exercise!
