Those new apartments were constructed in 2020 in Hamburg's overseas quarter with a stunning view of the world heritage „Speicherstadt“ (warehouse district) and the harbour. There, on the last free premises, an exclusive „quarter in quarter“ has been developed consisting of five office- and apartment buildings. Our neighbours in the building are a deluxe cinema and the amazing design hotel "Pier 3 HafenCity".
The Speicherstadt is the world's largest historic warehouse complex. It extends over 26 hectares in the middle of the port of Hamburg and consists of 17 building complexes in Gothic style of Wilhelminian brick, with more than 300,000 sqm of storage space. Originally high-value goods such as coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, tobacco and in recent decades also oriental carpets were stored here behind these thick walls at the right temperature. In recent years, trendy office premises have been added by advertising agencies, theater, fashion showrooms or dining options.
