Landlord policies

  • Landlord can't accept bookings ending between 15th of November to 5th of January,

  • Payment method: bank transfer
  • The license agreement must be signed, references must be finalized and the security deposit and first month amount of the license fee( minus the holding deposit) must be paid within 3 to 4 days of booking acceptance.
  • Additional documentation (to be sent within 5 business days of your booking confirmation):
    • ID / Passport
    • Work Contract (if you're a professional)
    • Recent Paychecks / Bank Statement (3 months, if you're a professional)
    • University Acceptance letter (if you're a student)
    • Guarantor with an income of 3.5 times the monthly license fee ( If you are a student, your earnings are lower than 2.5 times the license fee, or if you have started your job less than 6 months ago)

How to book

With Spotahome, in-person visits are a thing of the past. Our team verifies the property to offer video tours and photos so you can view them online. We collect all the information you need to make your decision.
With just a few simple details you can make a request for the property. Remember, we won't charge you until the Landlord confirms.
The Landlord has 24 hours to respond to your booking request. If they accept, your payment method will be charged and we will put you in contact with the Landlord. If they don’t accept, no worries, you won't be charged and we'll help you find alternatives.
Arrange your move-in date, key collection and anything else directly with your Landlord. As an extra security step, we will only transfer the first month's rent to the Landlord 48 hours after you move in, unless you contact us with a problem.
Remember: you have 24h to check your new home
If the property is significantly different to what our listing promised, let us know within 24h since you move in so that we can work to resolve it.
