**La Résidence des Étudiants Étrangers (La REZ)** is an international student residence located in Savigny-sur-Orge, just south of Paris, France. We offer single and private rooms to students for both short-term stays (minimum two months) and long-term stays (up to one year). La REZ welcomes dozens of students and interns from diverse disciplines and backgrounds. We provide not only a temporary home but also strive to foster a strong sense of community among our young residents. The train station is just a 4-minute walk away, and the TR12 tram stop is 6 minutes on foot. To reach the heart of Paris — Saint-Michel Notre-Dame — it takes just 20 minutes via the RER-C line. The heart of La REZ lies in our common areas. We have two large social rooms furnished with couches, games, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Our main common room, located in the larger of the two buildings, also features desks and a “take-a-book, leave-a-book” library. Residents often spend time here surfing the internet, watching the news, or simply relaxing. The common room in our smaller Erasmus building is frequently the site of lively conversations, chess games, and informal gatherings with snacks. For many, the favorite spot is the backyard garden area, equipped with rustic seating and tables — perfect for outdoor meals and barbecues. Relaxing on reclining lawn chairs to soak up the sun is also a popular pastime (weather permitting, of course). When not outside, meal times are usually spent in one of our two kitchens. La REZ provides refrigerator and cupboard space for everyone, along with some basic cooking supplies. **Shared Amenities** The kitchens and food prep areas are equipped with stoves, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, and tea kettles. While some cookware is provided, residents usually bring their own pots, plates, and utensils. Please ask the manager if you need to know whether to bring your own. Students staying in the Erasmus house benefit from a fully equipped kitchen, including tableware and cutlery. La REZ also offers a coin-operated washer and dryer for residents’ use. Finally, rest assured that there are sufficient shower rooms and toilet facilities throughout the two buildings.
